Seasons Greetings! Check Out Our Special Xmas Day Broadcast @7pm EST-Discussing Black Culture ReBranded; Rihanna's N-word Problem & The Blue Area!

Happy Holidays, folks! Stop by our special Yuletide Week in Review show broadcasting tonight at 7pm EST. The Captain and I will be deliberating on the following topics: for our weekly "positive spin" Blue Area segment-the continued rise (and acceptance) of the Black Santa Claus and The Corcoran Gallery of Art's "30 Americans" exhibit which explores African-American identity as interpreted by over 30 prominent Black artists; two disparaging stories involving the Obamas-the President being referred to as a "skinny, Ghetto crackhead" and a US senator's remarks about FLOTUS Michelle Obama possessing a "large posterior"; picking up from our previous broadcast pertaining to an article positing the need for Black America to "re-brand" itself and NY Daily News columnist, Stanley Crouch gets critiqued for his critique of the demise of America's trash culture; a Dutch magazine uses the n-word (along with the b-word) to describe pop singer, Rihanna in a recent article and in more "n-word" news, author and lastly, poet, Maya Angelou has a problem with actor/rapper, Common's use of the slur (in her presence). Call us live at 646-915-9620 or contact the show via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com. See you all at 7pm eastern.

And if you haven't guessed, Afronerd has modeled itself after Dr. Bill Cosby's campaign for betterment in some of our urban centers....thusly, check out this musing from Dr. Cosby's Youtube channel:
