TEEN IS STABBED IN EYE DURING GIRL FIGHT

April 27, 2007 -- A Brooklyn teenage girl was likely to lose an eye last night after a classmate stabbed her during a scuffle over a boy, cops said.
The fight broke out inside a Wendy's at 7811 Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie at 2 p.m., when three female students from nearby South Shore HS confronted another girl about a male classmate.
The trio began beating the girl, who then grabbed a scissors and stabbed one of her attackers in the face, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where doctors expressed little hope about saving her eye.
All four girls, whose ages range from 14 to 16, were charged with assault - but only the girl who wielded the scissors was hit with a felony.
They will all face a school disciplinary review.
"I'm sorry that this had to happen but these kids are crazy," said a man who lives with the mother of an alleged assailant who was uninjured.
"They need to stop it, especially young kids.
"I hope [the other girl] doesn't lose her eye."
