Tune 2 Afronerd Radio Wed at 7pm ET: The Rent vs Food Quagmire, Green Homes For 10K?, Is the SAT Biased Against Minorities & More Trump vs Pres Obama

Straight to the point! Stop by AfronerdRadio.com (dba Afronerd Featuring Captain Kirk) tomorrow at 7pm eastern as Dburt and The Captain lend conservative (and sometimes independent) analysis to the following topics: new data shows that due to our country's current economic woes, some folks are foresaking food in order to pay rent; an enterprising carpenter has developed a business that utilizes refuse to make green homes for as low as $10,000-specifically for low income citizens; there appears to be further evidence that the SAT, based on the language/phraseology of the questions may favor Whites over minorities and lastly, Trump verbal tirade against President Obama has moved from birther controversies to doubting the legitimacy of Obama's academic record....wow. Call us live at 646-915-9620 or via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

New Comic Shoppe Airing Tues at 7pm: More on the History of Comic Book Fandom; More Thor Reviews, New Xmen 1st Class Trailer, 21 Jump St News & More!

Let's get into it, shall we? It's time for a new Comic Shoppe broadcast featuring Daryll B, Captain Kirk and Dburt, airing tomorrow at 7pm eastern. Call in live at 646-915-9620 (or via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com) to join in the pulp flavored discourse! We will be discussing issues such as: an overlooked piece from last week's NY Newsday comic book article that provided a synopsis on the history of graphic novel fandom in the year BCC (before comic cons); a second X-Men First Class hits the net, Johnny Depp might make a cameo in 21 Jump Street (the movie); more positive reviews for the upcoming Thor film are coming in; is the Red Hulk the preeminent Marvel giant now?; Dburt's definitive Mortal Kombat 9 video game review and our favorite graphic novel reads from the previous weeks. Imperius rex!

And, as always, take a gander at the latest blog entry from the Shoppe's indefatigable Daryll B:

Welcome back AfroNerd Readers to yet another trip around the Daryll B. comic and science fiction link tour. I caution you fine folks up front that I might be a little irritable while typing this since I am doing most of the mark up while watching my Knicks and Rangers go down in awful playoff defeat....

1) Graeme McMilian over at Spinoff Online does pose an interesting question about Marvel Studios' future plans:

http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2011/04/23/is-marvel-studios-expanding-too-fast/

You know we'll touch on this one on the show as we get closer to Marvel Movie Season...

2) The guys at The Weekly Crisis put out an interesting challenge to their followers: to give their favorite obscure characters a "pitch" treatment. The first candidate is a little known member of the DC Universe....

http://www.weeklycrisis.com/2011/04/pitching-forgotten-characters-viceroy.html

3) Newsarama spun a couple of great articles this week. First up is an analysis of the future effects of The Death of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Universe...

http://www.newsarama.com/comics/new-ultimate-spider-man-speculation-110422.html

4) You know you love the Lil Vader commercial from the Super Bowl. Well here's an inspired parody by Marvel to help promote the Thor movie...

http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2011/04/little-thor-spoofs-little-vader-volkswagon-ad/

5) Interesting tale of getting your heart's desire by Ron Marz in his Shelf Life column. I know folks like McDuffie and Waid who have told similar stories in the past....

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31983

6) These next two links involve my favorite indie writer of all time and his future plans after Echo is wrapped up in May.....

http://www.newsarama.com/comics/terry-moore-part-1-110420.html

http://www.newsarama.com/comics/terry-moore-part-2-110421.html

7) Talk about nailing why I love a book... that's what Robot 6 did right here about Avengers Academy....

http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2011/04/the-fifth-color-avengers-academy-in-three-panels/

8) BBC America does it again! On the Eve of their Doctor Who premiere, they manage to acquire the rights to all of the updated Battlestar Galactica run...

http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2011/04/22/bbc-america-acquires-entire-run-of-battlestar-galactica/

As it stands, their Saturday Nights are going to be more appealing to me than "SyFy" Fridays now....

9) OK here we go again with Hollywood not learning from past mistakes and George Takei calling them on it:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/21/george-takei-akira-whitewashing-asian/

Now I think I have come around on this issue to say any actor should be able to tryout for any role. However, when you take a movie like Akira that is so intrinsically Asian and put out a release saying you want white male leads only.... You are asking for trouble.

10) Yeah, enough of the serious stuff. Let's end with some humor courtesy of Scott Snyder:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/22/scott-snyder-conspiracy-cops-kids-comics/

Jeff Parker and Erika Moen

http://www.4thletter.net/2011/04/read-jeff-parker-and-erika-moens-bucko-for-some-t-bolts-ta/

11) And finally a thinking piece by noted Bat-o-logist Chris Sims on Batman and killing....

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/22/batman-kills/

Due to my state of mind about my teams, I have no good feelings left in my heart for a satisfactory reclamation project this week. So I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend and have found one or two of these articles fascinating. So until next time AfroNerd Readers, Keep Fantasizing!

Afronerd Radio 2 Nite, 7pm ET: Spike vs Tyler Perry, Madness at McDonalds, Iphone Addiction is Real, Soul Food Shame, 7yr old in Handcuffs & More!

Afronerd Radio returns pretty much in the same vein as the lyrics of a Mavis Staples' song....Let's Do it Again! Join Captain Kirk and Dburt tonight at 7pm eastern as they wax poetic on this week's current event laden topics: it appears that the battle over appropriate Black entertainment representation reached a fever pitch with Tyler Perry telling Spike Lee to "go to hell" over Lee's recent criticisms of Perry's films for promoting Black minstrelsy; a woman weaponized her vehicle in an Ohio McDonalds' parking lot, striking four people during the famed franchise's national hiring day; not only has cell phone usage among the young mimicked a form of addiction but the very same technology doubles as a form of tacit surveillance; are some people of color ashamed of Soul Food?....case in point-actress, Holly Robinson Peete vs The Braxtons and lastly, is it appropriate for a 7 year old boy with autism to be handcuffed over behavioral concerns? Stop by and call in live at-646-915-9620 or via email/instant message-afronerdradio.com.

Continuing Sunday's Afronerd Radio on Wed! More on Kobe's 100K Fine, Anti-Obama Email, Drive Thru Funeral Home in Compton? Bounce vs BET & More!

And so the story continues and the show must go on! Join Captain Kirk and Dburt tomorrow at 7pm eastern for the Mid Week in Review edition of Afronerd Radio! The discourse will entail the following current event laden issues: a continuation of the discussion of LA Laker, Kobe Bryant receiving a 100k fine for an anti-gay epithet; BET gets another competitor for the urban audience and it's called Bounce; Compton, CA is not only known for drive-bys but now drive-thrus....a drive-thru funeral, more specifically; more on the anti-Obama/superimposed chimp email sent by a prominent tea party leader and an analysis of Harvard professor, Dr. Henry Louis "Skip" Gates' documentary entitled Black in Latin America. Call in live at 646-915-9620 or via email or instant message at-afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

The Comic Shoppe Airs Tues at 7pm ET-Discussing Marvel's Ultimate Line & Is Spidey Really Dead?; 1st Thor Review; NY Times on Girl "Geeks" & More!

And so it begins...stop by our Comic Shoppe broadcast Tues at 7pm to listen to Daryll B., Capt. Kirk and Dburt analyze the world of pulp fiction with a discourse on the following topics: Why the UK opening of Batman Live stage production might not be suffering the same fate as Spiderman: After Dark; the good, bad and ugly of Marvel's Ultimate line; and dovetailing off of the Ultimate discussion-is the Ultimate Peter Parker really dead?; the first Thor review has just arrived; the NY Times has discovered what we already knew....the female geek phenomenon and lastly, recommendations for graphic novel/comic book must reads. Call in live at 646-915-9620 or via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com. And in the immortal words of the crew of the Galactica-so say we all!

Afronerd Radio Presents The Comic Shoppe!

And before we forget, check out the latest blog words of wisdom from the Comic Shoppe's Daryll B:

Short and sweet this week from me AfroNerd fans because NBA and NHL Playoff action took up my time but here's my quick hits:

Alex Dueben gives his first hand report from MoCCA last weekend, which we discussed on last week's show. As I said, in every major city there's an indie comic scene. You just have to look for it....

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31888

Early Thor review from Jonah Weiland and he certainly sticks his neck out on this one...

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31910

I have made no secret for my appreciation of David Brothers' writing style and insight over at 4thLetter and this article is no different...

http://www.4thletter.net/2011/04/kiss-me-and-ill-kiss-you-back/

As usual Chris Sims has me rolling...

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/15/ask-chris-53-batman-vs-harry-potter/

And now to my main event.... I promised you all that I would fix the Star Wars franchise and *gulp* here I go...

1) Darth Vader is a bad guy who once was good. I think everyone gets it now. PLEASE stop the character rehab. It almost like Lucas wants us to forgive him. Dude destroyed planets and ordered death to enemies.....

2) You want little kids to get hooked on the franchise? Let's go with Han and Leia's kids and their trials 5-10 years past Return of the Jedi to continue the franchise instead of constantly rewriting the past. Or how about Luke's efforts to rebuild The Jedi Academy from the novels?

3) Over-reliance on the same characters weigh the franchise down like an anchor. One thing that Clone Wars 2.0 has done right this season is less Anakin more Asohka. But given her vivid fate in the second trilogy, it makes for very morbid watching for fans like me who must use continuity.

4) Take cues from the comic line and even the video games: Just look at the list of series from Dark Horse over the last 19 years:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Horse_Comics

Surely we can do cartoons and movies based on some of these? Which leaves me the final point

5) Take the franchise out of George Lucas' hands. Take a look at the fantasy/sci-fi authors of note on this list:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Wars_books

Surely we could get a couple of them together to brainstorm a new adventure/movie to free the franchise from the icy grip of the original trilogy? Lucas could always oversee their movement but it is obvious that George, the perfectionist, cannot let go of his original movies.

Yeah I went a little too geeky and fanboyish here... I'll try to stay more rational the next time. Until then Afronerd Readers, Keep Fantasizing!

Issues 2B Discussed on 90 min of Afronerd Radio-Sun. at 7pm ET-Arresting Wall Street...Maybe; Kobe's Fined; "The Blacks" Love Trump..Allegedly & More!

One thing that I have learned since I started blogging and by extension podcasting-there's never a lack of interesting (or heart wrenching) stories. Join Captain Kirk and Dburt this Sunday at 7pm to hear them pontificate on these ensuing topics: as entailed by the above video-a young mother kills herself along with three of her four children (the oldest escaped) by intentionally driving her vehicle into New York's Hudson River; a damning Senate investigation may lead to Goldman Sachs facing criminal fraud charges stemming from (or being the catalyst of) this nation's mortgage banking breakdown; TV personality and real estate mogul, Donald Trump in an attempt to assuage public criticism for his Obama birther protestations, emphatically affirms that he's friendly with "the Blacks"; basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant gets fined 100K for using an anti-gay f-word perjorative during game play; Rush Limbaugh calls President Obama's base of supporters "savages" and "walking human debris"; the death of the soap opera and if time permits-a tea party member likens our president to a simian...sigh...again:

The Mid Week Show Airs on 7pm ET: A Series of Fights-Ashley Judd vs Hip Hop, Cornel West vs Sharpton, Alan Simpson vs Repubs & Jamaica's Color Issues

Hey! Let's make this short and simple...Join Afronerd Radio's Dburt and Captain Kirk this evening at 7pm to discuss the following issues: actress, Ashley Judd's recent comments detailed in her memoir, All That Is Bitter and Sweet affirm Hip Hop as a "rape culture" has caused quite a stir; some Jamaicans risk severe health problems with products used to lighten dark skin; former Senator Alan Simpson, who himself is a Republican, stated that he is "not sticking with Republicans who are "homophobic and anti-women" and lastly, as the above video shows Cornel West argues with Reverand Al Sharpton over a so-called "Black Agenda." Call us up live at 646-915-9620 or contact us via email/IM-afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

7pm Eastern-The Comic Shoppe Opens: Discussing Zod for New Supes Film (Again!), The Village Voice's Comic Issue, Latest Green Lantern Trailer & more!

It's time to open the Comic Shoppe show....as always, every Tuesday at 7pm eastern. Keeping matters simple-stop by to listen to Daryll B, Captain Kirk and Dburt pontificate on sci-fi, fantasy and video game issues such as: Zack Snyder's highly anticipated Man of Steel film appears to have chosen its villain....and it's General Zod!; a more fleshed out Green Lantern trailer hits the net (above); the New York Village Voice newspaper has its special comic issue; and speaking of newspapers, the NY Newsday highlights a local comic store and its adult clientele; Newsarama waxes on the poorest (and wealthiest) fictional characters and lastly, our favorite graphic novel reads from the prior weeks. Call us live at-646-915-9620 or contact us via email/IM-afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

Afronerd Radio Presents The Comic Shoppe!

And for your further edification and enjoyment, here's the latest blog musing from The Comic Shoppe's own Daryll B-

Good Day AfroNerd Followers! This little blog will be smaller than usual due to my attendance to a wedding over the weekend upstate... (Congrats Tim and Amie!) but no worries, I got enough snark to hit a few topics:

1) In honor of DBurt's "shock" over The Walking Dead's previous issue, I present this from The Gutters:

http://www.the-gutters.com/comic/120-jeff-mccomsey

2) Just for Captain Kirk's amusement, I present this latest Chris Sims' article that disputes Jeff Parker's claim that a Caveman could defeat a Shaolin Monk:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/08/ask-chris-52-shaolin-vs-caveman-batman-vs-hamlet/

3) It is always fun for me to get the sense of a convention from someone who is attending their first one. Jill Pantozzi from Newsrama does that about WonderCon here...

http://www.newsarama.com/comics/hey-thats-my-cape-wondercon-2011-110406.html

4) We all knew he'd be coming back to the shield in time for his movie, but my frustration and snark at the P.R. hype surrounding Steve Rogers becoming Captain America again is perfectly illustrated here:

http://www.the-gutters.com/comic/121-sean-izaakse

5) Need a full coverage place that has all the major non-comic happenings from WonderCon? IGN has got you covered:

http://www.ign.com/events/wondercon

This week, I am going to hit you folks with quick hits instead of a reclamation project:

- I can't believe the buzz that this Arnold Schwarzenegger comic/cartoon has gotten. A lot of folks at the wedding and even hotel staff on the day after were asking me questions about it when they saw me reading a comic in the lobby.

- A lot of online buzz about the WonderCon Green Lantern trailer and how it was better than the first. My question to you all: "Isn't the second trailer of a movie SUPPOSED to be much better than the first?"

- Last blog, I gave you the part one of a great analysis of DC Universe crossover events from Tim Callahan and Graeme McMillan. Here is the part two:

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31696

I love the way that even though the two writers fundamentally disagree over the events in questions, both viewpoints are presented without demeaning the other's ideology.

- Meanwhile, Brian Cronin breaks down one of my favorite comics ever: Deadpool #11 from the Joe Kelly days:

http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2011/04/07/the-comic-book-fools-of-april-deadpool-time-travels-into-an-old-issue-of-spider-man/

The mashing up of 60's sensibilities to Deadpool's 90's sarcasm/viewpoint is still hilarious to me today dammit!

- Finally, David Brothers gives an interesting viewpoint about reviewers/critics/fans over at 4th Letter that bears looking at:

http://www.4thletter.net/2011/04/the-cipher-040611-imagine-if-this-was-the-last-rhyme-i-ever-wrote/

Again, as a guy who at times represents the dark side of fans nature, I came to a point where I felt I HAD to become more positive. Hence, my recent slate of 're-tooling' comics and movies that have great potential. Where do you stand when you personally review something AfroNerd Readers?

That's it for me this week but I will leave you with this nugget: next week, I will 'save' the Star Wars movie franchise.... Yeah, I know. I have a LOT of work ahead of me...

Until I write again AfroNerd readers, Keep Fantasizing!

It's Round 2 With Author JC Davies on Sunday's Afronerd Radio Broadcast at 7pm! Also: Glenn Beck, Trump-King Of The Birthers?, Elf Ears? & More!

Well, she's baaack! Afronerd Radio welcomes author and former Wall Street equities analyst, J.C. Davies back for "round two" to discuss her new book I Got the Fever: Love, What's Race Gotta Do with it?. Although her last appearance was well received, we still left quite a few questions on the table and out of respect for our listenership (and the author, of course) we wanted to give her the courtesy of completion-and that's just the first part of the broadcast! For the second act, we will be discussing the infamous congressional deadlock and subsequent resolution over the government's budget; a continuation of the previous show's analysis of the DJ wars in NY urban radio; Conservative pundit/provocateur loses his gig at Fox News; and speaking of provocateurs....real estate mogul and TV personality, Donald Trump not only adds to further speculation that he may run for the presidency in 2012 but also reignites the birther conspiracy movement pertaining to President Obama's US citizenship and lastly, the insanity (and inanity) of extreme body modification. Case in point, Mexico's Maria Jose Cristerna aka "Lady Vampire":

Kick up a chair and stop by for another 90 minute special airing of Afronerd Radio at afronerdradio.com, of course. Call us live at-646-915-9620 or via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

Afronerd Radio Interviews Author, JC Davies-Part Deux's & Our Week in Review broadcast!

Comic Shoppe Broadcasts Tues at 7pm eastern: Discussing Stargate U's Last Stand, Blue Beetle & Booster on Smallville, Walking Dead, Xmen Anime & More!

Don't forget to check out the latest episode of The Comic Shoppe show airing tomorrow at 7pm! Stop by and listen to Dburt, Daryll B and Captain Kirk muse on the following topics: Stargate: Universe is coming to a close after only two seasons and the series' writers are partly blaming Stargate fans; pictures of Blue Beetle and Booster Gold's upcoming appearance have reached the internet and can we say the power Rangers want their uniforms back!; impressions of the latest issue of the Walking Dead (the comic, folks!); Marvel Anime...the X-men, specifically aired in Japan this past Friday; San Francisco's WonderCon news and our favorite comic book/graphic novel reads from the previous weeks. Feel free to call us live at-646-915-9620 or via email/IM-afronerdradio@yahoo.com. Imperius rex, folks!

Afronerd Radio Presents The Comic Shoppe!

And last but not least, take a gander at the latest blog entry form the one and only, Daryll B:

Here we go AfroNerd readers for yet another journey into the breach.....

1. Once again, forget everything we debated last episode:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/03/31/christopher-nolan-new-batman-dc-universe-movies-unconnected/

2. Nostalgia Fans, this one is for you:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/01/dc-comics-retro-active-one-shots-wondercon/

and

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31651

3. This gets announced on April 1st and once again people jump to conclusions. However, Laura Hudson says Image Reps say it isn't a hoax:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/04/01/image-sends-out-invincible-2012-promo-image/

4. Jill Pantozzi over at Newsarama gives an even handed review of Sucker Punch and finds a way that it could have been better....(I personally would have gagged Snyder the INSTANT he said that S.P. was a movie about female empowerment, then proceeded to have the "dream" women fight in school girl uniforms. This being "female empowerment" and all..*groan*):

http://www.newsarama.com/film/hey-thats-my-cape-sucker-punch-110330.html

5. Troy Brownfield kicks off an interesting series of articles revolving around film franchises:

http://www.newsarama.com/film/greatest-film-franchises-pt-1-110331.html

6. Also he continues his retrospective on cartoon that have yet to be collected:

http://www.newsarama.com/tv/dvd-watch-3-glaring-omissions-110330.html

7. Augie De Blieck Jr. over at CBR gives a review of the latest Modern Masters book spotlighting Jeff Smith:

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31567

8. I have recommended this in the past but for great, inventive art, check out The Line is Drawn at CBR. This week is a superhero/Oscar movie mash-up:

http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2011/03/30/the-line-it-is-drawn-34-comic-book-charactersoscar-winning-films-mash-ups/

Okies, it is time for my reclamation project and since it is the remnants of Wrestlemania week for yours truly, I am inspired to take on a heavyweight of comics: The X-Men

Hear me out on this one: Yes, X-Men remain a moneymaking franchise in the land of Marvel and the mutants are among the most recognizable heroes in the world. However, it can't be denied that the universe has seen better days and hopefully these 5 ideas would help:

1. Defined, genre specific comics: Sure the X-Men and their related characters have an abundance of titles but off-hand can you tell me which book you would point an action/adventure fan to? How about a kid friendly title for a parent to give their kids who saw the characters on TV? This inaccessibility is something we talk about on the show all the time and no other universe is more at fault than the X-Men.

2. Stop the overuse of certain characters: Wolverine, Deadpool, QUICK! Can you name the X-books in which they DIDN'T appear within the last year? 'nuff said. Overuse equals a confused, watered down product.

3. Similar to what I said about the Teen Titans, can we give them time for some world building and avoid the crossovers? QUICK! What are the big threats to the X-Men? Who are their enemies? Allies? Do we ever care anymore?

4. Connected to the last point, I know people love "bad guys/gals" but come on now... if you make all the villains a part of the X-Men, who is left to fight? Then if you do switch a character's allegiances, make sure other writers and editors know so there aren't 2-3 versions of the same character running around the universe. Magneto, Mystique, and Juggernaut among others all fall into this trap.

5. Finally, space out the shipping schedule Marvel. Seemingly, comic book fans go 2-3 weeks without an x-book of any type. Then get 6-10 X-related titles coming out at the same time which hurts the shoppers' wallets. Not cool Marvel....

Okies, I'm tuckered out...Enjoy the week AfroNerd readers and until next time, Keep Fantasizing!

A Preview & Sunday's Afronerd Radio Broadcast: Mid Week Show Topix Cont., Snooki vs Toni at Rutgers U, The Passing of Dr. Manning Marable & More!

The concept of "time" never falters does it? One would have thought that 2011 just arrived and yet we're closing in toward the middle of the year already! Nevertheless, one could make the same argument about Afronerd Radio-we continue and never falter either! So let's get into the ensuing news/preview and topics for today's discussion. As it pertains to the preview, we were fortunate enough to schedule an interview with new author, Rhonda Patterson (a corporate attorney by trade) who is the ex-fiance of NY Jets cornerback, Antonio Cromartie. We decided to pursue Ms. Patterson as a guest due to a number of listener requests and thusly your wish is our command! Ms. Patterson's memoir, Love, Intercepted: A Tale of Football, Falling and Failing in Love, is not intended to be a bashfest against Cromartie, but (according to Patterson) is a cautionary tale for women who seek love in the world of high profile celebrities and athletes. Start your engines and mark your calendars for a special Wednesday (4.06.2011) 9pm Afronerd Radio airing.....AGAIN...not the show to miss!

OK. now to more pressing matters-stop by tonight at 7pm eastern and tune in to Captain Kirk and Dburt discuss these interesting and impending issues: a continuation of last Wednesday's Mid Week in Review discussion (i.e. tech/medicine/science predictions for 2100, Ivy league bound teenager pistol whips her mother over a car loan, AZ ethnic studies ban), the passing of noted educator and intellectual on African American Studies, Dr. Manning Marable days before the release of a controversial biography of El Hajj Malik el Shabazz entitled, Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention; and if it's possible, there's more controversy brewing due to Rutgers University hosting both Pulitzer Prize winning scribe, Toni Morrrison and reality star, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi as scheduled speakers and paying Polizzi more; ten American industries that are faltering and that may never return and lastly a video that critiques the choices that Black women make as it relates to sexual behavior...whew! If you haven't guessed, this will be a special two hour broadcast so get your fruits and vegetables (no popcorn folks, this is an Afronerd show) and call us up live at 646-915-9620 or contact us via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo.com.

Afronerd Radio's Week in Review broadcast!

And speaking of the infamous aforementioned video:
