Double Trouble Time! The Comic Shoppe @6pm & Afronerd Radio @7pm-Discussing Prometheus, Black Panther Film; Paltrow in Paris, Obama's Black Presidency & More!

It's Double Trouble Time, people! And any confusion between our Double Trouble and the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan's legendary blues band is welcome but unintentional. Stop by tomorrow evening at 6pm for our infamous warm-up act, The Comic Shoppe hosted by Daryll B., Captain Kirk and Dburt. The topics to be discussed are: Prometheus, the latest reboot/redux/prequel(?) within the Alien film franchise was released this weekend with a respectable 55 million dollar box office; Valiant Comics' Harbinger #1 was released this past week....is it destined to be the next big thing?; the cyber community was all abuzz with the rumor that the Black Panther may be the next character to receive silver screen treatment; legendary sci-fi author, Ray Bradbury passes as well as Robert Washington, colleague of the late Dwayne McDuffie and co-writer of Static and if time permits, a synopsis of the latest DC/Warner animated DVD, entitled Superman vs The Elite. Call in live at afronerdradio.com at 646-915-9620 or contact the show via email or instant message at afronerdradio@yahoo.com. Next up, starting at 7pm is Afronerd featuring Captain Kirk (aka Afronerd Radio)! The issues up for grabs are: yet another article, courtesy of the Washington Post, laments that although President Obama is Black, his presidency is not; actress Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celebrity to get into twitter trouble over her usage of the N-word; Quentin Tarantino's Django trailer hits the net; Dburt waxes on whether the commercialization of same sex marriage is still less controversial than Blackness and famed televangelist, Creflo Dollar lands in jail for allegedly striking his teenage daughter. As always, this is not the show to miss! See you all at 7pm sharp!

It's Double Trouble Time-The Comic Shoppe at 6pm & Afronerd Radio at 7pm!
